Getting Ready

A photography project about the quiet room that holds the ride before it begins.

Rider in full kit at the apartment door, ready to leaveGetting Ready.

Every ride starts the same way: alone, in a room, putting the kit on.

Race morning, friday group ride, solo training. it doesn’t really matter. the ritual repeats.

This project photographs that in-between moment, where the domestic space meets the riding life.
